Terms of Service

1. What Tradeora is

Tradeora is a South African sourcing and Request-for-Quote marketplace operated by Vahlave Quick Tech Solutions. We let buyers (businesses or individuals) post what they need and let suppliers find and quote on it, and we let suppliers list products and services buyers can browse and contact them about.

Tradeora is a directory and matchmaking platform, not a party to any transaction that results from it. We don't buy, sell, deliver, or pay for anything ourselves; there's currently no payment gateway or escrow built into the site at all. Any agreement on price, quality, delivery, and payment is strictly between the buyer and the supplier, made entirely off-platform, and it's your responsibility to satisfy yourself about who you're dealing with before you do — our guide to vetting a supplier is a good place to start.

2. Your account

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to register — in practice, 18 or older. You're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything that happens under your account; tell us straight away at info@tradeora.co.za if you think someone else has access to it. The information you give us at signup and in your profile needs to be accurate — impersonating another business or person, or registering with a business identity you're not authorized to represent, is a violation of these terms.

If you sign up or log in with "Continue with Google," that also means you're bound by Google's own Terms of Service for that part of the process — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what we receive from Google and how we use it.

3. Content you post

You keep ownership of whatever you post — RFQs, quotes, listings, photos, reviews, messages, profile details. By posting it, you grant Tradeora a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute it as needed to operate the site (for example, showing your listing in search results, or your quote to the buyer who requested it). You confirm you actually have the right to post what you post.

You agree not to post anything that: is illegal, fraudulent, or misleading; infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy; is spam or unrelated to genuine buying/selling; or misrepresents your business, your verification status, or a review as something it isn't (including fake or incentivized reviews). We can remove content, suspend, or terminate an account that breaks this — see section 8.

4. Verification levels & reviews

A "Verified," "Trusted," or similar badge reflects Tradeora's own internal review of the information and documents a business submitted at that point in time — it's a helpful signal, not a guarantee of quality, reliability, legal compliance, or that any future transaction will go well. Star ratings and reviews are left by other users, not written or endorsed by Tradeora, and reflect their own opinions and experiences.

A business's "Verified on Tradeora" embeddable badge (see Grow your reach) is provided for that business to display on its own website or social page, and remains accurate only for as long as that badge is actually loading live from Tradeora — pasting a screenshot of it or otherwise misrepresenting a status you no longer hold is not permitted.

5. Fees & the referral program

Tradeora is currently free to use — no commission, subscription, or listing fee. We may introduce fees for some feature in the future, but never retroactively and never without clear notice first.

Any business can share its own referral link and see, on Grow your reach, which other businesses signed up through it. This is an attribution/analytics feature only — it does not currently carry any monetary reward, discount, or other incentive unless we explicitly announce one.

6. Advertising

Tradeora shows ads served by Google AdSense. We don't write, vet, or endorse individual ads or the sites/products they link to, and we're not responsible for your dealings with an advertiser. See our Privacy Policy for how Google's advertising cookies work and how to control ad personalization.

7. Intellectual property

The Tradeora name, logo, and the site itself (excluding content users post, and third-party assets like Bootstrap) belong to Vahlave Quick Tech Solutions. You may not copy, reproduce, or repurpose them without our written permission, beyond the embeddable badge explicitly provided for that purpose in section 4.

8. Suspension & termination

You can stop using Tradeora and ask us to close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate an account, or remove content, that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or harmful to other users, or that we're required to act on by law — where practical, we'll tell you why.

9. No warranty & limitation of liability

Tradeora is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any buyer or supplier on it will behave as expected — again, we are not a party to transactions between users.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vahlave Quick Tech Solutions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of Tradeora, or from a transaction, dispute, or interaction with another user — including loss of goods, money, or business opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited under South African law.

10. Disputes between users

If something goes wrong between a buyer and a supplier, we encourage you to resolve it directly first. You can also raise a dispute in-app for a specific order, which helps us understand patterns of abuse — but resolving the underlying disagreement (refunds, redelivery, and so on) is between you and the other party, not something Tradeora arbitrates or guarantees.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute that can't be resolved directly falls under the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
